Beaver County Assistant District Attorney

The Beaver County District Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for an open assistant district attorney position. This office seeks an individual who can prosecute the full range of crimes under Pennsylvania law, including violent felonies, sexual assaults, domestic assaults, child abuse, drug trafficking, overdose deaths, thefts, juvenile allegations, and driving under the influence. You will be challenged from the first day on the job and be expected to manage an independent caseload. This office practices vertical prosecution, so assistant district attorneys handle their cases from start to finish beginning with the preliminary hearing all the way through appeal and collateral civil proceedings.

Applicants with trial experience in criminal cases are preferred. Prerequisites include graduation from both an ABA-accredited law school and a four-year college or university; a license to practice law throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and either a residence in Beaver County, PA, or the willingness to relocate to Beaver County, PA, within one-year of being hired.
