PDAA Announces New Leadership Appointments
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association (PDAA) today announced the appointment of Armstrong County District Attorney Katie Charlton as Secretary-Treasurer of its Executive Committee. Charlton replaces former York County District Attorney David Sunday, who recently was sworn in as Pennsylvania Attorney General.
PDAA also appointed Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli as a member of the Executive Committee, which oversees the policies, actions, and operations of the association.
“PDAA welcomes District Attorney Katie Charlton to her new role as an officer and District Attorney Ziccarelli as a new member of Executive Committee,” said PDAA President David Strouse, who is the District Attorney of Clinton County. “I look forward to working with them to address public safety concerns and seek for justice for crime victims.”
PDAA also announced the appointment of Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn to the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute (PDAI), the education and training arm of PDAA.
In addition, Cumberland County District Attorney Seán McCormack was named Chairman of the PDAI Education and Training Committee, a position previously held by Attorney General Sunday.
PDAI ensures that prosecutors have the knowledge, skills, and support they need by offering continuing education programs on criminal justice trends, training for new prosecutors, and guidance on emerging issues and courtroom practices.
