PDAA Offers Condolences for Former Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin

HARRISBURG (August 15, 2026) – The Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association (PDAA) issued the following statement upon the death of Jim Martin, former Lehigh County District Attorney and president of PDAA in 2007:

“PDAA sends our condolences to the friends, family, fellow prosecutors, and the many people whose lives were impacted by Jim Martin, former Lehigh County District Attorney, who died this weekend. Jim was a dedicated public servant with more than 30 years as a prosecutor and nearly 50 years as a trial attorney. His initiatives to fight crime and advocate for victims brought justice to the citizens of Lehigh County and beyond.

Jim was a leader within the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association and the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute. He will be remembered as an effective community leader and a role model and mentor to many.”
